a bit about me:
I am a statistician mainly interested in geophysical applications.
The main purpose of my research activities is to improve the calibration and the structure of mathematical models applied in geophysical processes (extreme value models, nonstationarities, treatment of the uncertainty, stochastic processes, mxiture models, hydrological models).
My main research themes are: Extreme value theory; Bayesian inference; Markovian models; Copulas; Mixture modelling; Regional frequency analysis
